Headings
Pencil pleat: This is a standard heading for curtains and valances. A heading tape is used and the curtains are the gathered to the desired width to fit your window.
Triple Pinch pleat (French pleat): This is our most popular heading. It is a classic, decorative heading, where the pleats are sewn-in to give a luxurious, tailored look. This heading is perfect for a bedroom, dining room or living room.
Double Pinch Pleat: This is a slightly more relaxed style of the triple pinch pleat which consists of two folds pleated together rather than three. Perfect if you have less draw back space, but still require a formal style of curtain.
Eyelet Heading: Eyelet headings give a clean and contemporary look, it is where the curtain pole is threaded through metal eyelets which are punched through the fabric. Eyelets come in a variety of colours to match your fabric and pole. Please note eyelet headings are only suitable for use with a pole.
Tab Top: Tab top headings are a simple heading where a tab is made out of the same fabric as the curtain or a contrasting fabric which attaches the curtain to the pole. Tab top headings do not move along the pole as well as our other headings. Please not tab top headings are only suitable for use with a pole
Goblet: A goblet heading is a decorative, formal heading, best suited to longer length curtains, made using a rich, heavy fabric. It is made by forming a cup style pleat, which is padded and sewn-in to keep its shape. The heading can be finished off using a button at the end of each cup and/or rope joining each cup.
